What was the highlight of Thistle Express Swindon
The staff were very polite and helpful.
The staff were very polite and helpful. We had a good time too, we had the family room and it was warm and spacious , i almost forgot it was winter . The breakfast had a complete english breakfast and it was very nice as well . Good value for money. The hotel was right behind the beautiful shopping centre , we had a good time shopping till late.
The parking was a night mare, elevators not working and i had a baby plus pram to carry. Thanks to the lads hanging around the car park who helped me although i was scared to the teeth as they were drinking all sorts on the stairway. Secondly the discount wasn't given to us from the payment machine although it was said to be validated at the reception.

Superb!
For a “budget” hotel it had everything you need and more! Spotless clean, plenty of sockets including usb, nice tv with phone connection option, lovely breakfast, good quality unlimited tea, coffee hotchocolate, we have stay in the local Hilton and rate this hotel higher!!

Nosey at times, cheap hotel stay and close to work.
The breakfast and hot drinks were good. The hotel was cheap and close to work.
We booked a room and had to wait while the room was being sorted out after coming in from a night shift. A bit disorganised. Also I thought that the carpets need cleaning in the hallways and the outside of the doors are so dirty. The floor was very noisy even through we requested to be on a quite floor as we are shift workers. Both nights I had problems sleeping due to the nose levels of other guests.

Nicely decorated for somewhere so reasonably priced.
Nicely decorated for somewhere so reasonably priced. Felt clean and fresh. Unlimited cooked buffet breakfast makes it good value
Mattress was so firm it was as good as sleeping on the floor. I barely slept from back pain. Pillow was barely 5mm thick at the thinnest bits and was quite lumpy. Shower was cold. Soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken
